Weekly and monthly arrangements, usually the best value on the site. Owners generally prefer one long hire to a run of short ones, so monthly rates are almost always negotiable if you ask directly.

Both have their place. If you are flying into Perth Airport at 11pm and need keys in your hand, a rental desk is the right answer. For most other situations in this city, the maths runs the other way.
Read the bottom four rows properly. They are the genuine trade-off, and we would rather point at them than hide them. A rental company carries risk on your behalf and charges you for it. Going direct means the price drops and the risk moves to you — which is a good deal when you have checked the insurance and a bad one when you have not.
What listing costs
List the same car elsewhere at the same time if you like. We do not ask for exclusivity and we do not hold you to anything.
A second car doing nothing five days a week is a depreciating asset with rego and insurance running against it. At $62 a day, three days a week, that is around $800 a month before you have done anything except hand over a key.
You decide the rate, the kilometre limit, the minimum hire, and who you are comfortable dealing with. You can decline anyone without giving a reason, and you can pause the listing the week you need the car yourself.
The one thing to sort first: ring your insurer and ask, in plain terms, whether your policy covers the car while it is hired out for money. Most standard comprehensive policies in WA do not. Get the answer before you list, not after something happens.
